Chelsea are keen on PSV Eindhoven right-back Santiago Arias.

The Sun says Stamford Bridge spies checked out the PSV star when he played for his country in the Copa America.

They want to take another look when the Dutch league starts next week before making a £12million offer.

Arias, 24, could be a surprise addition to new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte's squad.

The Italian is looking to strengthen his defensive options and bring quality and variety to the Bridge.

PSV would sell Arias and the South American, who has made 27 appearances for Colombia, is also keen on moving to the Premier League.
