Chelsea have warned off the top clubs in Europe by stating Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba is not for sale. The double winners were quick to pour cold water on speculation linking Drogba with a move to Manchester City after his agent Thierno Seydi claimed the transfer was a possibility.
City have since said there is "no foundation" to Seydi's claims, and Chelsea are adamant the forward, who netted 29 Premier League goals last season, is completely off-limits.
"It is all irrelevant, Didier Drogba is not for sale," said a Chelsea spokesman.
Drogba, who signed with the Blues from Marseille six years ago for £24million, has scored 84 goals since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
