Chelsea icon Lampard NUTMEGGED as NYCFC go down in derby

Former Chelsea legend Frank Lampard played 86 minutes in his first New York Derby on Sunday, as his New York City went down to rivals New York Red Bulls 2-0 at Red Bulls Arena.

Things didn't quite go to plan for the 36-year-old, who first had a strong shout for a penalty turned down with NYC trailing 1-0 in the 59th minute.

The Premier League icon was then sensationally nutmegged by local Red Bulls star Mike Grella, much to the delight of the home fans at Red Bullls arena.

NYCFC dropped to eighth spot on the Eastern Conference table as the Red Bulls moved up to second following goals from Bradley Wright-Phillips and Felipe Martins.
