Frank Lampard suggests he will be on his way out the Etihad Stadium exit door when his loan expires in January.
The Chelsea great is on loan with Manchester City after signing a deal with MLS expansion franchise New York City FC who are owned by the reigning Premier League champions.
There has been much talk about 36-year old Lampard extending his stay with City after scoring four goals in his past five appearances but he has re-iterated that he will be off to New York at the end of his six-month spell at Eastlands.
"I am contracted here until January," said Lampard.
"I am enjoying every minute of training at this level and being able to get game time. That is as far as it goes at the moment."
Lampard will link up with New York City ahead of the 2015 MLS season along with former Valencia, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid striker David Villa who is currently on loan with A-League club Melbourne City FC.
