Chelsea crock Frank Lampard won't give up on his England career.

He is not giving up on adding to his 90 England caps.

Lampard told The Sun: "There is no question of me hanging up my boots internationally. I know some people are saying this will be it for my England career and Roy Hodgson is looking to the future and the younger players coming through.

"But while I'm fit enough and well enough I'd still love to be picked. I'm certainly not in the frame of mind to walk away.

"If the manager doesn't choose to pick me any more, I will completely understand. But my aim is to have a good rest so I come back very strong next season for Chelsea.

"And if I'm playing well for Chelsea I know I give myself every chance of playing again for my country."
