Chelsea legend John Terry is being linked with a move to Sporting CP.

Terry, after leaving Aston Villa, has been on holiday in the Algarve this week with wife Toni and his two kids.

And A Bola says Terry has held talks with Madeira Rodrigues - who is in the running to become Sporting's new President.

Elections are to be held on September 8.

Rodrigues and Terry are said to have met on Wednesday, with Terry told his role would not just be as a player but also as an ambassador.

The presidential candidate wants to raise Sporting's profile and links to the Premier League.
