Dutch legend Ruud Gullit believes new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho wants to win the World Cup.

Like Mourinho, Gullit is a former Chelsea manager and feels the Special One has a burning desire to win the World Cup.

He said: "I really admire what Mourinho achieved at Inter Milan and I think he'll be just as successful in Madrid.

"He's still very young as a manager and he's going to win other trophies, for sure.

"Sometimes when you see him in his interviews it looks like he knows something that nobody else does. It's like he's got a pact with the devil.

"I don't know which team he will want to do it with, but winning the World Cup is definitely something he will want to achieve.

"He's very confident and that's the secret to his success."
