Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy matches Cech record

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy continues to break records with his new club.

Mendy, a summer arrival from Rennes, collected another clean sheet for Saturday's 3-0 win at Burnley.

Previously, he had also not conceded in games against Crystal Palace (4-0) and Manchester United (0-0).

In doing so, the 28-year-old became the first Chelsea goalkeeper since 2004 to secure clean sheets in his first three Premier League games. Previously, it was Petr Cech who held the record.

In total, Mendy has played six games for Chelsea in all competitions and conceded only two goals - in the League Cup game against Tottenham (1:2).
