Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta is on the brink of signing for Genoa.

The defender is set to join Genoa on a season-long loan.

Sky Italia says the deal is agreed and will be a straight loan without an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old right-back is expected in Liguria for his medical.

Zappacosta spent last season on-loan with Roma.
