James will miss Sunday's season finale due to injury.

He said: "I'm sure you've seen the news.

"I won't be able to play in the last match of the season. This is a blow to me. I'm sorry this season didn't go the way we all wanted.

"Next season I will come back stronger than ever and we will fight for trophies again."
