New contract talks between Chelsea and Ian Maatsen remain at deadlock.

The Holland U21 fullback has been resisting Chelsea's attempts to secure him to a new deal since the end of last season.

The situation hasn't changed, with Maatsen's deal expiring in 2025.

Maatsen spent last season on-loan with Burnley in the Championship and the Clarets failed with a bid over the summer.

As it stands, Maatsen has made nine appearances for Chelsea this season.
