Chelsea fullback Chilwell hopes to continue goalscoring run ahead of Porto clash

Chelsea left back Ben Chilwell is hoping to score more goals for his side in the coming weeks.

The Englishman has shown his ability in the final third this season, providing countless key passes and assists for his teammates.

He has recently scored an important goal for the team, against FC Porto in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final.

Chilwell also went very close to scoring in a 4-1 win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the weekend.

"I got a bit of stick off Mase [Mason Mount] and Callum [Hudson-Odoi] when I chopped it onto my right foot and had a shot and didn't pass the ball!" admitted Chilwell to reporters during a press conference, per the club website.

"But the goal against Porto gave me confidence to score a goal like that. When I get in those positions it's important I take on more shots and hopefully I can score a few more goals."
