Chelsea left-back Cesar Azpilicueta is chasing Champions League this season.
Chelsea were handed a relatively easy group stage fixture list on Thursday after being drawn with Jose Mourinho's former side Porto, Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kyiv and Israeli champions Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Group G.
"We know how difficult the Champions League is," Azpilicueta told Chelsea's official website.
"We are playing against three very good teams who will make it hard for us, so we have to make sure we start really well, fight for our place and try to be top of the group.
"It's true we have two long trips but if you're travelling you have to adapt to play around Europe. We will try to do that and not feel it.
"It's the biggest competition in Europe.
"Everybody wants to touch the cup and hopefully Chelsea can do it again, and myself for the first time."
