Chelsea are regarded as favourites to sign Caen super junior Elye Wahi.
Wahi is already playing in attack for Caen under-17 side and scored a brace in the 5-2 defeat to financial monsters Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday.
Chelsea are seen as favourites to sign the 14 year-old thanks to N'Golo Kante's Caen background. Like Wahi, Kante first moved to Caen from JS Suresnes.
Piotr Wojtyna the current U17 JS Suresnes coach – when asked if the two could be compared as players, when their stories are so similar – told Le Parisien: “Elye is a phenomenon in relation to his age.
“He is able to make a difference at any time with the ball.
“N'Golo Kante was an enormous man with great intelligence.
“Elye is a rough diamond that must progress on the mental side.
“This kid has a gift, I only hope he will not spoil it because the way is long.
“It was not a talk with him saying 'when can I go?' or 'where can I go?'. Not that talk, but about what we planned for this season."
