Chelsea are struggling to get a deal closed for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Mirror says Chelsea could still face competition for Lukaku from Manchester United AND Bayern Munich.

It was believed Everton striker Lukaku was close to a move back to Stamford Bridge, but sources close to the player are adamant no deal has been struck.

While the London club remain firm favourites to re-sign Lukaku, three years after his £28m move in the opposite direction, the player's agent, Mino Raiola, has maintained contact with both United and German champions Bayern.

Everton are demanding £100 million to sell the Belgian this summer.
