Chelsea are eyeing a move for PSG attacker Julian Draxler next month - and also have teammate Idrissa Gueye on their shopping list.

Le 10 Sport says Chelsea have begun making enquiries after the availability of Germany international Draxler, though talks have not reached the stage of tabling a bid.

And along with Draxler, the Blues are also watching Gueye, who only left Everton last summer for Paris. A move in January for Gueye is unlikely, but he is on Chelsea's long-term shopping list.

Meanwhile, Draxler has emerged as a top target as Chelsea manager Frank Lampard seeks to add more creativity to his midfield.

He admitted just last week: “I have said it over the last couple of weeks. I am happy with the squad but we have to improve if we can. It is not just my business, in the modern day since I have been in management and at most clubs it is a joint-effort.

“We have a scouting system, the board and myself. I can put forward a lot and we will work together. I will recommend players that can improve us, fit with the style and the way we want to go and come in really hungry.

“I want people who come here wanting to win and to be a Chelsea player."
