Chelsea have drawn up a shortlist of alternatives to Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea are battling to settle terms with Brighton over a fee for the Ecuador international. The Seagulls rejected an £80m bid from Chelsea last week.
The Times says Chelsea are continuing to push to sign Caicedo, but are prepared to consider alternatives.
Tyler Adams (Leeds), Roméo Lavia (Southampton), Edson Álvarez (Ajax) and Gabri Veiga (Celta Vigo) are all on Chelsea's shortlist.
However, the Blues haven't dropped their pursuit of Caicedo just yet.
