Chelsea are determined to win the race for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.

Gazzamercato says Chelsea are ready to smash rivals Juventus in a bidding war for the Ivorian teen.

Juve have been in talks with Atalanta for some weeks over a January deal for Kessie, but now face being blown out of the water by Chelsea.

Kessie's agent was in London last week to meet with Chelsea officials and the Blues are now preparing a bumper offer for the midfielder.

A structured bid from Chelsea as high as €30 million is being mooted.
