Chelsea have denied reports they're seeking to buy a new goalkeeper to succeed current No1 Petr Cech.

It emerged yesterday that the likes of CSKA Moscow keeper Igor Akinfeev and Juventus star Gigi Buffon were wanted by Chelsea.

But a spokesman for the Premier League leaders said: "It is absolute rubbish."
