Chelsea have upped their bid for Marseille fullback Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Daily Express says the club had originally offered £5.4million, almost £3million below the asking price for the defender but had their bid rejected by the French club.

The Blues have now raised their bid to £7million in a bid to clinch the player.
