Chelsea defender Daniel Pappoe is out of Ghana's U20 World Cup squad.

Pappoe was called up to the Ghana squad for the first time for the tournament in Turkey. The Ghana FA report the player experienced some swelling to his knee during preparations in Switzerland and it had become difficult for him to combine training and the tournament schedule.<> He was born in the Ghanaian capital Accra but having moved to London when young, joined Chelsea at Under-12 level.
