Chelsea defender Matt Miazga has hinted he's unlikely to return to Vitesse Arnhem next season.

The USA international has spent the past two years on-loan with Vitesse and has just helped the club win their Europa League playoff.

"The KNVB Cup is of course bigger. But this is also a prize. European football. For me personally, the value of two years at Vitesse is in my personal growth," said Miazga.

"I learned a lot here. Every aspect of my game has been improved. I have played more than seventy games for Vitesse. That is a lot of experience for the future.

"The end of this season at Vitesse has already been great."
