Chelsea defender David Luiz says he won't change his style of play for anyone.
Luiz refuses to listen to the critics.
Laid-back Luiz, 24, told the Daily Express: "If Chelsea were top of the table, everybody would be praising my skills. But when things are not going well, people criticise.
"I spent most of my life playing in midfield and it was only when I was 17 that I became a defender. That is the position I feel comfortable in. That's what made me shine at Benfica. That's the style of David Luiz.
"Maybe in the future people will appreciate it. But it is not about David Luiz - it is about me giving my best to help Chelsea.
"I can't change my style. But I do try to minimise the mistakes. I am willing to improve and work hard.""I'm a very humble person. I am open to experience, to learning. My style of play was what brought me here. I know it is different. I understand this vision of me people have.
