Chelsea defender David Luiz is delighted to have drawn former club Benfica in the Champions League quarterfinals.

The Stadium of Light in Portugal is where the Brazilian broke into the big time, paving the way for his big-money move to Chelsea last year.

Luiz recalled: "Like any Brazilian I wanted to play in Europe and thanks to God it happened early in my life.

"For at the age of 19 an offer came to me from Benfica, a six-month contract, which was a risk - but I so wanted to be a professional."
