Chelsea defender Cahill unimpressed by Man Utd's Rafael

After victory over Manchester United, Chelsea defender Gary Cahill was relieved to escape injury following an ugly two-footed tackle by right-back Rafael.

The incident came minutes after United captain Nemanja Vidic was sent off for a rash challenge on Eden Hazard and referee Phil Dowd decided to only show Rafael a yellow.

Cahill reacted angrily to the challenge and told the London Evening Standard: "I have no problems if he tackles me as hard as he wants, as long as it's fair.

"I did feel that he lunged in two-footed. I don't know why. Thankfully, I rode it and didn't get injured so it's okay, it's gone."
