Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta is thankful that he won't be facing Diego Costa when the Blues take on Atletico Madrid in Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Spain international has re-joined his former club, but he is not eligible to play for them until January due to their transfer ban.

The Blues defender said: "He has moved to a new club and we have to deal with that.

"For them not to play with him tomorrow is better for us, he is a top striker and to not play against him is a little advantage for us."
