Chelsea's deal for AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has moved one step closer to completion.

According to Sky in Italy, Milan will meet with Genoa on Tuesday to finalise a deal for Krzysztof Piatek.

The Rossoneri will reportedly pay £31m for the Polish striker, which will clear the way for Higuain to complete his move to Stamford Bridge.

Higuain has been on loan with Milan from Juventus for the first half of the season.

Juventus have now agreed a deal with Chelsea which will see the Argentine join the club until the rest of the season, with an obligation to renew it for another 12 months upon certain conditions.

The deal for Higuain will also allow Alvaro Morata to join Atletico Madrid.
