Chelsea are considering a surprise move for Fiorentina fullback Marcos Alonso.

The Telegraph says Conte is said to want two new additions to his backline, with a left-back and centre-back on his radar.

And the Italian wants to bring Alonso back to England to bolster his full-back cover.

The Fiorentina defender joined Bolton in 2010 from Real Madrid and also featured on loan for Sunderland two years ago.

Alonso's arrival could free up Branislav Ivanovic to play in the centre, with Cesar Azpilicueta switching to play right-back and Alonso taking his former spot.
