Chelsea are ready to hand Willian an improved contract.
The Sun says Chelsea and Willian's representatives are still thrashing out the final details of a new four-year contract.
Manchester United were prepared to go over £60m to buy Willian but Chelsea strongly believe that the best is still to come of the attacking midfielder who will be 28 in August.
And they are not interested in selling a prime asset to Jose Mourinho.
Willian has two years to run on the deal he signed when he joined the club for £32m from Anzi Makhachkala back in 2013.
