Chelsea chief scout Emenalo: Ramos always wanted England move

Chelsea chief scout Michael Emenalo can understand why his former coach Juande Ramos was so keen to move to England.

It was at second division Lleida that former Nigerian defender Emenalo worked with the new Tottenham coach, prior to the spell in Israel where he met Avram Grant.

The Spaniard's decision to make the move to England failed to raise any eyebrows with Emenalo.

"No. I think his style is good; he is a football person who loves it dearly," he told Chelsea's website. "Everybody wants to be here, there is a real culture of football here. If you were at the ChelseaEverton game, you could hear the fans and feel the tension. It was unbelievable and I know that Ramos wanted that."
