Chelsea are identifying striker targets for the January market.
The Telegraph says they will seek a new striker amid growing concerns regarding the form and mental state of Diego Costa.
The club's technical director, Michael Emenalo, had started work on drawing up lists of long-term and short-term striker targets, with Chelsea willing to end Radamel Falcao's ill-fated loan spell from AS Monaco.
Chelsea had planned to enter the market only if they could offload Falcao and find another backup to Costa, but the club are now considering whether they immediately need to address a lack of goals in an attempt to climb the Premier League table and challenge for the top four.
