Chelsea caretaker manager Frank Lampard says his time with Everton improved him.

Lampard was sacked by Everton earlier this season, having guided them away from relegation last term.

Now back with Chelsea, Lampard said: “I have definitely changed, I have carried over some of the things that I changed at Everton.

"You develop is probably a better word. I have always been very open to listening, watching, learning and reflecting. And I'm certainly not the kind of person who sits and says that he has all the answers.

"There are things that I look back on and I feel like I may have improved and there will always be things you want to get better at. The results will always depend on how I work here and how I can influence the players now. I think I've gotten better."
