Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is up for their trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

They visit the red side of North London to face the Gunners, who have a new manager in Mikel Arteta and a familiar face in former Blues defender David Luiz.

Azpilicueta said: “When I arrived here David was here.

“He was very important for Chelsea, he was part of the squad that won the Champions League, two Europa Leagues, the Premier League with Antonio Conte.

“On Sunday, he is going to be a rival and we are going to fight for our teams.

“I never played with Mikel. I know him because he is Spanish and he played for Arsenal but I don't have any special relationship with him.

“For Arsenal it is a new beginning with a new coach but for us it is a massive game after losing to Southampton. It is a London derby and we have to bounce back.

“We have to look at what we've done well, especially against Tottenham where we fought together and played well.

“We have to learn from the Southampton game as well, because it is important to see the reality, to see where we can do better."
