Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has hailed the new generation inside Spain's World Cup squad.
Azpilicueta, 33, admits there's a clear changing of the guard inside the La Roja setup.
"Only Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba are left. I shared a dressing room with the generation who won two European Championships and one World Cup, learned from them. There is a transition now and hopefully this can be the place where we are champions again," he said.
"This is a new generation. There are times you help but the guys now have such confidence. Take Gavis debut. They said to me: 'Keep him calm'. What do you mean 'keep him calm?'.
"Normally you have to get them started, push them. No, no, not him: there he was, kicking people. I thought: not a chance I could have done it at age 17."
