Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta's confrontation with a fan at the end of defeat to Arsenal appeared to end in a positive fashion.
After referee Jon Moss blew the full-time whistle, the 32-year-old defender appeared to clash with a home fan and seemed to take issue at something he had said.
Initially, Azpilicueta put his arms out as the fan made gestures in his direction, seeming to imply Chelsea should have shown more fight.
Despite pointing at the fan and gesturing towards him, the club captain appeared to be walking away from the situation, but then changed direction to confront the fan.
Azpilicueta then appeared to berate the supporter for appearing to applaud sarcastically in his direction, with the fan then reacting by continuing the argument with the Spaniard.
However, the fan then appeared to give in and subsequently held his hands up in apology followed by a thumbs up to the defender.
In the meantime, fellow Chelsea fans in the section of Stamford Bridge had gathered around the arguing pair and seemed to offer their thanks and support to Azpilicueta, reports the Daily Mail.
