Chelsea capable of competing with best - Henry

Thierry Henry believes Chelsea have the ability to contend with the top sides in the Premier League.

The Blues well and truly got things back on track with a 4-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday, extending their winning streak to three matches.

The positive result comes in the wake of back-to-back defeats to title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal which suggests to Henry that at their best, Antonio Conte's men have what it takes to be a genuine title contender this season.

"With the way the games went at the weekend it was vital for them to be back in the mix," he said on Sky Sports.

"The way they played against Liverpool and Arsenal was just not good enough, but today they realised that with a lot of work and if they get it right they can compete against the best in this league.

"The momentum is now on their side. How long are they going to carry that on? Hopefully for them a long time.

"For me, it was very important today for them to win and win well."

Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante were all on target as Chelsea did the damage on Jose Mourinho's return to West London.
