Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Marcos Alonso is leaving.

The Spain fullback is expected to sign for Barcelona next week.

Tuchel said, "He is not training at the moment while he is trying to close transfer, so he will not be at the appointment on Sunday (against Tottenham)."

The German also spoke of interest in Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund.

Tuchel also said: “I don't follow the press. To be offended, I don't follow the press that much. I don't know if he has good or bad press. It's not important.

"It was a pleasure [training him]. Some players are still your players because you were very close and Auba is one of those players. Even when we played against him with Arsenal, there was this close bond right away."
