Chelsea boss Scolari escapes censure over referee comments

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari will not face any action from the FA over his comments about referee Mike Dean.

Dean allowed a Robin van Persie equaliser to stand despite suspicions of offside.

The Football Association believe Scolari qualified his remarks and that he had not questioned the integrity of the referee.

A spokesman said: "We have studied the remarks of Luiz Felipe Scolari and will not be taking any further action."

Not surprising at all. Very much like the FA and its double standards. Drogba made the quotes taken from his book in a certain context. Scolari too. A certain player's red card changed to ''no card". Hmm. Somethings are only obvious to the FA alone. We know those whose statements they like and those whose statements are not in the type of context only the FA likes. The truth of the matter is that the referees are prone to major errors/mistakes in almost all the matches. As bitter as this truth is, the FA must face it. Officiating in the EPL is still below standard. Perhaps some more training on decision making for the referees. That is where to start; not the present style of looking for who to blame except the people who commit the blunders themselves- the REFEREES. .
