Chelsea boss Scolari assures Malouda in crunch talks

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari wants to hold onto winger Florent Malouda.

The Sun says the winger has opted to stay after a crunch meeting with new boss Scolari.

Malouda, 28, who joined Chelsea from Lyon for £14m a year ago, was unhappy under previous chief Avram Grant.

But Scolari made it clear he is central to his plans for next season and convinced him to commit his future to the club.
