Chelsea boss Pochettino ponders Palmer making Arsenal clash

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino expects Cole Palmer to be fit for their clash with Arsenal.

The Blues meet Prem leaders Arsenal on Tuesday night.

And Pochettino says Palmer should be okay after being taken off in Saturday's FA Cup semifinal defeat to Manchester City.

He stated: “It's normal. He's tired.

"But I don't believe he has a problem. We need to check tomorrow but I hope there's nothing more wrong than him being tired."

Pochettino also said: “Now we are going to play on Tuesday against another very good team in Arsenal. We need to be ready. With the circumstances that have happened, maybe we cannot change too much but I think like Manchester City, they had no time to recover and feel 100 per cent, and the same for us on Tuesday. But I feel happy with the way we are evolving."
