Chelsea boss Pochettino: I know Jackson will never give up

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says he's working closely with Nicolas Jackson.

Pochettino admits he's urging Jackson to study the game of football's great strikers.

He said, "It's tough. Really tough. He is doing fantastic for me. You can see a player that fights, runs, wants the ball even when he made a mistake. Even if the fans are not happy, he will try again.

"He will never give up. And he is scoring goals. In his first season here in England, he is doing well. Better than people maybe think. Much better.

"Jackson loves to watch different strikers and learn. He is very humble to listen and to accept when we show him different strikers or when we try to advise him on the game."

Pochettino continued: 'All the strikers in the Premier League for him to see. All the strikers. Batistuta, Drogba, Hasselbaink, experienced players, amazing players, big players.

"It happened with Harry Kane. At the beginning he was listening to us. Now 30 years old, he teaches you now, you know? Now, of course, Jackson is doing well but he is learning."
