Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho rates Everton are top four rivals.
Samuel Eto'o this week followed Romelu Lukaku in heading to Goodison Park - decisions he does not regret but knows will strengthen the Toffees' top-four aspirations.
"They are a very good team and they kept every player," he said.
"They didn't sell any one of their good players and they have players so many teams, for sure, wanted to buy.
"They believe in that team and if they believe in that, that's the most important thing."
