Chelsea are inviting January offers for David Luiz. The Mail on Sunday says Luiz was axed for the midweek Champions League win over Schalke and was left on the bench again for the 2-2 draw with West Brom on Saturday, with John Terry and Gary Cahill the preferred and first-choice pairing.
The 26-year-old is hugely popular with the fans but some of the Chelsea players have started to agree with manager Jose Mourinho's belief the player is too casual and showy.
For all his talent, Mourinho feels the rugged edge he likes from his central defenders is missing and he doesn't see Luiz as an option in midfield.
