Chelsea boss Di Matteo fears experience gap as senior pros depart

Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo has concerns over the gradual departures of his leading senior players.

The Daily Star says with John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole all set to retire or leave west London in the next few seasons, Blues boss Di Matteo is worried about a lack of leadership in his dressing-room.

Cole and Lampard are off contract in June, while Terry's deal expires in 2014.
