New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to keep hold of John Terry for next season.

The Daily Mail says Terry feels he has 'two or three years' left in him and that deal would see him stay a one-club man.

Conte is prepared to hand him a lifeline on a one-year basis, with the player's age not an issue that concerns the former Juventus manager.

The Italian still uses Andrea Barzagli, the 34-year-old centre back who was called up to the Italy squad for their recent international friendlies before dropping out with a muscle injury.
