Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is ready to raid Roma to boost his defence.

Corriere dello Sport says Chelsea are prepared to spend €40 million on one of Roma's centre-backs, either Kostas Manolas or Antonio Rudiger.

Roma have reportedly already turned down offers for both players from the Blues.

Of the two defenders, Germany international Rudiger is believed to be more likely to depart in January.
