Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has chosen to keep hold of Charly Musonda for the season.

Conte has ruled out releasing Musonda on-loan in January.

The London Evening Standard says Chelsea were considering sending the Belgium Under-21 international elsewhere in order for him to get regular first-team football.

But Conte believes Musonda has a lot to offer, especially with the senior side struggling with their intense fixture list this season.

The Italian is willing to back the youngster, despite his social media meltdown a fortnight ago.
