Chelsea boss Benitez yet to make call on Torres or Ba for FA Cup

Rafael Benitez is not 100% sure who he will start up front in this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea meet Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday but the Spaniard admits he will need time to think about whether or not he goes with Fernando Torres – who has scored three goals in his past two Europa League outings – or Demba Ba – who came off at half-time of the win over Sunderland on the weekend with an injured ankle.

Benitez has been rotating the strike pair but now needs to make a judgement call for the glamorous clash with City.

"Fernando did really well," said Benitez of tonight’s 3-2 Europa League second-leg loss to Rubin Kazan in which Torres scored the opener.

"He's been doing well in the last games, he's working hard, he's creating chances for himself and his team-mates.

"We will think what we have to do for Sunday. Still we need to check how Demba is and afterwards we will decide."
