Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has two major midfield targets for the winter market. The Daily Star says Eden Hazard has emerged as a fall-back option for Chelsea if they fail with a £20m bid for Jack Rodwell.

Lille star Hazard, 20, is one of Europe's hottest properties and the Blues scouted him for the fifth time this season against PSG last weekend.

Everton midfielder Rodwell is boss Andre Villas-Boas' top January target but Hazard, who has also been watched by Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, is on his radar.
