Chelsea boss AVB hints at trying for Porto's €100M man Hulk

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has hinted he tried to land Porto's €100 million man Hulk.

Villas-Boas claimed Chelsea were being priced out of the January market.

He said: "Regarding the forwards, we looked at the options but the problem, in that sense, was that there are clubs asking for a lot of money and there's not a lot of money around, in society or in football clubs.

"We have to take responsibility in making correct market judgements and buying accordingly.

"We have to understand that the January market is extra inflated. You have to take that into account."

There are some attention-grabbing cut-off dates in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There's some validity but I will take maintain opinion till I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as properly

Instead of looking at hulk, look at leandro damiao. 40 goals and 10 assists in 51 matches. Or look at Luuk de Jong
